This booklet explores the variable typeface Arsenica by Zetafonts, drawing from Italian poster design and Art Nouveau and Art Deco influences. The project investigates the typeface’s versatility through color and graphic weight.
Inspired by frasurbane design and @withstudio52’s work on Red Velvet’s _Chill Kill_, I developed a booklet that balances Arsenica’s decorative character with a contemporary editorial approach.
The booklet was designed in Illustrator and InDesign, with Photoshop used for mockups. The final 8 by 8″ publication was physically produced and shown at the 2024 VIZ Fall Show.
