Short Sword (Fall 2023)

(Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 5)

I recreated an artifact from the MET Museum, modeling in Maya and surfacing in Substance Painter. To achieve the gold incrustations, I created a traceable decal through Photoshop as a guide to hand draw across the blade with height information. The turntable was rendered in Unreal Engine.

I’m responsible for modeling and surfacing the short sword, sword stand, and lantern. The environment assets are from Quixel, and the scene was lit and rendered in Unreal Engine.

MET Museum Recreations

Using an artifact from the MET Museum, I recreated a 15th-century glazed teapot using Maya and Zbrush, rendered in Renderman.

I am responsible for modeling and sculpting. I used a PXR texture to surface the asset.
