As part of my undergraduate capstone at Texas A&M University, I created a branding package for a conceptual museum to reflect my ultimate career focus in museum design. The project includes logos, a brand book, a pocket map, a wayfinding system, and a visual identity system.
The pocket map uses the layout of the Memorial Student Center as a foundation to host three mock interactive exhibitions. The wayfinding system incorporates data from the Smithsonian Guidelines for Accessible Exhibition Design to exercise professional museum standards in my work. The visual identity system utilizes a grid formed by the logomark, and attempts to balance contemporary design with legibility. This system supports type, images, and time-based media for print and digital.
All designs were developed and sequenced in Illustrator, and all photography used is my own. Mockups were made in Photoshop to help bring the concepts to life.
